Frances "Fannie" Schelt Cunningham (1872-1967) graduated from Colorado Agricultural College (now Colorado State University) in 1895. Following college, she taught in local public schools until she married Frank Cunningham in 1903. Having spent over 45 years of his life as a farmer in Fort Collins, Colorado, Harvey Johnson (1895-1991) understood the value of water. He served on numerous water boards, most significantly the Water Supply and Storage Company Board, of which he became a member in 1936 and served for 54 years.
